• 75% recycled COTTON
• 20% recycled POLYESTER
• 5% OTHER recycled FIBRES

– Recycled material

This recycled yarn from Italian spinner Industria Italiana Filati is made in Italy from production off-cuts, known as pre-consumer. This process reduces waste by reusing existing fabrics and is part of a circular approach.

It is blended with a small percentage of recycled polyester, made from plastic bottles, known as rPET, to give the cotton fibre strength and durability. Recycled polyester gives a second life to a material that is not biodegradable and would otherwise end up in landfill or the ocean.

This quality is Global Recycled Standard(GRS) certified, guaranteeing traceability, recycled content, quality and social and environmental practices.

Its colour is a unique blend of colours from production off-cuts. It has not been dyed or chemically treated.

The ‘ PAS À PAS ‘ jumper was knitted on Shima machines in the Raji family’s workshop in Casablanca. We’re delighted to have been working alongside them for over 10 years and to be writing our future together.

In addition to the trust we place in them, our long-standing partner is audited by two external bodies, ICS and BSCI, guaranteeing compliance with a code of conduct on workers’ rights and conditions.
